2012 Hard Red Winter Wheat Grain Policy

Grain BinsHard Red Winter Wheat will be taken at the following locations: Aurora, Marquette, Central City, Chapman, Harvard, Clay Center, Keene, Ong, Edgar, Geneva, Sedan, Superior, Hardy, Hubbell, Byron, and Republic KS.
**NO WHEAT DELIVERIES AT GRAND ISLAND, MURPHY OR AURORA WEST**

This harvest policy shall take effect on all hard red winter wheat delivered on and after June 4 2012, unless other arrangements have been made.

STORAGE POLICY: Hard red winter wheat delivered shall be placed under Open Storage unless otherwise indicated. The following charges will apply:

Open Storage: $.00165 per bushel per day (4.95¢ per bushel per 30 days)

No storage shall apply to wheat sold within 30 days of delivery. If wheat is not sold within the 30 days, storage will revert back to the date hauled and accumulate daily until sold with a minimum storage of 120 days.

Notification for settlement of grain must be made prior to any issuance of payment. Please inform your scale operator, location manager, or grain settlement personnel for payment.

Wheat which has a Sample Saved (S.S.) for official grading shall not be available for settlement until the official grades have been received at the settlement locations. Aurora Coop will pay for a composite sample for each field. If the producer would like each load sampled, Aurora Coop will pay for the first sample and the producer will pay for the balance.

To assure correct payments for your grain, please let us know the exact name(s) that the grain was delivered under, the name(s) the payments are to be made to, and/or splits to each person.

If you want to sell your grain across the scale, please make sure your scale operator is aware of this at the time of delivery. Grain sold across the scale shall be priced as of that day’s closing bid.

The following discounts apply on a per load basis.
